Jillian Hennessy was born November 25, 1969 in Edmonton, Alberta Canada with her identical twin sister Jacqoline. Jill has a younger brother named John Paul and grew up in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Her family moved all over Canada averaging a move of once every three years. She began modeling school in Toranto at age thirteen, the same year her parents divorced. Jill began her career doing improv comedy with the Toranto company of Second City (based in Chicago, Illinois) Not only an accomplished actress, Jill also plays the guitar and sings.

Before her three year run on Law & Order Jill had appeared along with her twin sister in the film Dead Ringers. In 1996 she appeared briefly in The Paper as Robert DuValls estranged daughter.

Jill's acting career also includes roles in RoboCop Three, I Shot Andy Warhol, A Smile Like Yours, Most Wanted, Weekend Getaway, Molly, Autumn In New York and the TNT film Nurenburg. Jill was last seen in the NBC Mini-Series Jackie, Ethal and Joan in which she protrayed Jacqoline Kennedy-Onasis.

Jill, along with her husband Paolo Mastropietro own Hennessy Tavern in Northvale, New Jersey.
